Seed
About this lesson
What is a Seed?
A Seed is a number that the AI uses as the basis for generating an image.
β
Why is it important?
- Random: If you don't choose a Seed, the AI takes one at random, and the result will be different every time, even with the same prompt.
- Controlled: If you set a precise Seed, the AI will always produce the same result for the same prompt. This lets you reproduce a creation exactly, or experiment by changing just one detail in the prompt.
β
A simple example:
Imagine you ask the AI to draw a cat:
- Without a fixed Seed, each attempt will result in a different cat (size, color, style...).
- With a Seed, for example "123", you'll always get the same cat as long as the prompt doesn't change.
β
To sum up:
- Seed = numerical starting point.
- No Seed β varied results.
- Fixed Seed β predictable, reproducible results.
β
This is useful for exploring or refining an idea without starting from scratch every time.
β
π Option 1: leave the Seed empty (random).
β
At each generation, the AI chooses a seed at random
β You get completely different poses, angles, compositions
β Ideal for exploring and finding new ideas
β
π Option 2: fix the Seed manually
β
- You choose a seed (e.g. 82237789283)
β You can reproduce exactly the same image base
