OnlyFans Statistics 2026: Creators, Revenue, Top 1 %

OnlyFans statistics from the audited FY2025 accounts: $7.84B fan payments, 5.06M creators, payouts, profit, top 1 % share. Every number dated and sourced.

Written byArthur

OnlyFans fans paid $7.84 billion in the year ended 30 November 2025, creators received about $6.2 billion, and the platform kept $1.55 billion in revenue with $715 million profit before tax. It counted 5.063 million creator accounts and 437.1 million fan accounts, per the audited Fenix International accounts filed at UK Companies House.

OnlyFans statistics are the audited figures that Fenix International Limited, the UK company that operates OnlyFans (company number 10354575), files every year at Companies House, plus the estimates that analysts build on top of them.

This is the reference sheet Fanbase Accelerator (FBA) uses with agency owners: every market number is dated and linked, and every number FBA computed is labeled. For creator income only, read how much OnlyFans models make; this page is the platform-level view.

What are the key OnlyFans statistics for 2026?

The latest audited accounts cover fiscal year 2025 (FY2025, 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025). FY2026 ends on 30 November 2026 and its accounts are not due at Companies House before 31 August 2027, so every "2026" statistic you see elsewhere is either FY2025 data or an estimate.

  • Gross fan payments: $7.84 billion, up about 9 % from $7.22 billion (Fenix FY2025 accounts; Variety, 22 Aug 2025 for FY2024).
  • Paid to creators: about $6.2 billion in the filed strategic report; OnlyFans' own statement to Variety said $6.3 billion (Variety, Aug 2026).
  • Platform revenue: $1.55 billion, up 10 % (The Telegraph, 25 Aug 2026 rounds it to $1.6 billion).
  • Profit before tax: $715 million, up 5 % (BBC, 25 Aug 2026).
  • Creator accounts: 5.063 million, of which about 2.5 million were active during the year.
  • Fan accounts: 437.1 million, of which about 132 million were active (the BBC calls them paying subscribers).
  • Lifetime payouts: more than $30 billion to creators since 2016, and 5,076 creators past $1 million in lifetime earnings, according to the company (Variety, Aug 2026).
  • Staff: 47 employees on average, which is about $15 million of pre-tax profit per employee (computed by FBA from the filing). Most operations run through contractors.

How have OnlyFans revenue and creator numbers changed year by year?

Growth has slowed to single digits since the pandemic years.

Sources linked in the last column, checked 6 Oct 2026. FY2022 revenue and profit are approximate, derived from the 20 % and 25 % growth Variety reported for FY2023. "Accounts" means accounts created and not deleted, not unique people: one creator can run several accounts, and one fan can hold several.

What it means for agencies:

  • Accounts grow as fast as money. In FY2025 creator accounts grew about 9 %, fan accounts about 16 %, gross payments about 9 %.
  • The take rate is stable. $1.55 billion of revenue on $7.84 billion of payments is a 19.8 % take (computed by FBA from the filing), consistent with the 80/20 split creators see.
  • Very profitable: pre-tax profit was about 46 % of revenue in FY2025 (computed by FBA from the filing).

Where does OnlyFans revenue come from: subscriptions or PPV?

The accounts split revenue between subscriptions and everything else (pay-per-view messages, tips, paid posts). As read from the FY2025 filing by OnlyFansStatistics.com (checked 6 Oct 2026), subscription revenue fell about 10 % to approximately $422 million, while PPV, tips and messages grew about 20 % to approximately $1.13 billion, roughly 73 % of platform revenue. For FY2023, Forbes reported $540.8 million from subscriptions and $765 million from other income, roughly 41 % and 59 % (Forbes, 6 Sep 2024).

Treat the split as approximate until you read the note on Companies House. The direction matches what agencies see daily: the money is in the inbox, not the subscription price (see our OnlyFans PPV pricing strategy guide).

How much does the average OnlyFans creator earn?

OnlyFans publishes no average or median income. Means computed from the filing depend on the denominator. The table below shows the calculation; all four lines are computed by FBA from the filing, not figures OnlyFans published.

CalculationInputsResult per yearPer month
FY2025, all creator accounts$6.2bn paid out / 5.063m accountsabout $1,225about $102
FY2025, active creators only$6.2bn / 2.5m active accountsabout $2,480about $207
FY2024, all creator accounts$5.80bn / 4.634m accountsabout $1,252about $104
FY2023, all creator accounts$5.32bn / 4.12m accountsabout $1,291about $108

Inputs: FY2025 from the Fenix FY2025 accounts and Variety, Aug 2026; FY2024 payouts from Variety, 22 Aug 2025; FY2023 payouts ($5.32 billion) from Variety, 6 Sep 2024.

Two honest readings of this table:

  • The mean per account is flat to slightly down (about $1,291 in FY2023, $1,225 in FY2025), because creator accounts grow as fast as payouts.
  • A mean is not a typical income. A few thousand accounts earn millions and millions earn almost nothing, so the median is far lower.

How much do the top 1 % of OnlyFans creators earn?

There is no official figure. The only public distribution study is The Economics of OnlyFans by Thomas Hollands, published 24 April 2020. From roughly 1,000 scraped public profiles, it estimated that the top 1 % of accounts take 33 % of all money and the top 10 % take 73 %, with a median account at about $180 a month before commission. It could not see tips or PPV, was never peer reviewed, and predates most of the platform's growth. According to analyst Matthew Ball (8 Sep 2024), the Washington Post cited it in 2023; Ball reused it while noting that OnlyFans does not disclose its distribution.

Label it for what it is: a third-party estimate from 2020. Applying those shares to FY2025 payouts gives an illustration, not a measurement:

Band (of 5.063m accounts)Share of payouts (Hollands, 2020)Illustrative average per account, FY2025Basis
Top 1 % (about 50,600 accounts)33 %about $40,400 a yearComputed by FBA: 33 % x $6.2bn / 50,630
Top 10 % (about 506,000 accounts)73 %about $8,900 a yearComputed by FBA: 73 % x $6.2bn / 506,300
Bottom 90 % (about 4.56m accounts)27 %about $370 a yearComputed by FBA: 27 % x $6.2bn / 4,556,700

An average of $40,000 hides huge spread inside the band. Since only about half of creator accounts were active in FY2025, "top 1 % of all accounts" is closer to the top 2 % of accounts that actually sold something. For an agency, the practical takeaway is simple: a creator earning $10,000 a month is already far into the top 1 % on this math, and that is the tier where a team (chatters, traffic, CRM) pays for itself. Our OnlyFans agency revenue split article shows how that money is shared once an agency is involved.

Who owns OnlyFans and what is it worth?

  • 2018: Leonid Radvinsky bought control of Fenix International from founders Guy and Tim Stokely (The Telegraph, 25 Aug 2026).
  • 2025: the company was preparing for a potential multibillion-dollar sale (The Guardian, 22 Aug 2025); no sale closed.
  • March 2026: Radvinsky died of cancer aged 43; the company is now owned by his widow, Yekaterina "Katie" Chudnovsky (BBC, 25 Aug 2026).
  • 8 May 2026: Architect Capital bought about 16 % for $535 million, valuing OnlyFans at $3.15 billion (Bloomberg, 8 May 2026; Axios, 11 May 2026).
  • Dividends: $535 million for FY2025 plus $174 million more between December 2025 and 26 March 2026 (BBC, 25 Aug 2026). FY2025 dividends were about 103 % of after-tax profit of roughly $521 million (computed by FBA from the filing).

For creators and agencies, nothing in the filing points to a change in the 80/20 split. What to watch is regulation (age verification, payment processors) and whether the new shareholders push for new financial products for creators, which Architect said it would work on with OnlyFans (Reuters via Investing.com, 8 May 2026).

How many fans does OnlyFans have, and how much do they spend?

  • Per fan account: $7.84 billion / 437.1 million accounts = about $18 a year (computed by FBA from the filing).
  • Per active fan: $7.84 billion / 132 million active accounts = about $59 a year (computed by FBA from the filing and the company's active-user figure).
  • UK audience: the Telegraph reported more than 5 million active users in the UK (The Telegraph, 25 Aug 2026).

A $59 average per active fan means the money comes from a small share of high-LTV fans (whales), the same power law as on the creator side.

What agency benchmarks do practitioners use? (FBA course numbers, not market data)

The numbers in this section are practitioner benchmarks taught in FBA courses. They describe how operators run a team, not the market.

  • Chatter target: a daily report per chatter (hours worked, revenue generated, fans talked to) and a revenue-per-fan figure, with explicit targets set before a trainee touches a real account.
  • Cut-off: a trainee who stays far below the target after two weeks of training is moved out, so the team is not carried by its best chatters.
  • Daily reporting: every chatter and VA fills a short form each shift (hours, revenue, fans talked to, issues), so the numbers exist before you need them.
  • Recruitment volume: agencies that sign creators consistently run outreach every day, in the 50 to 100 DMs range, and hire a recruiter once the founder cannot keep that pace.

With payouts roughly flat per account, the market rewards agencies that measure. A CRM such as OnlyMonster (an FBA partner, listed on our tools page) or a shared sheet both work if revenue per fan and chatter output are tracked daily. Our guide on how to recruit OnlyFans models for your agency covers outreach, and how to scale an OnlyFans agency covers the org chart.

How should you read OnlyFans statistics without getting fooled?

  • Check the fiscal year: it ends on 30 November.
  • Accounts are not people.
  • Gross is not revenue: fans paid $7.84 billion, OnlyFans kept $1.55 billion.
  • Rounding differs: $6.2 billion (filing) vs $6.3 billion (press statement). Say which you quote.
  • Distribution data is old: ask any "top 1 %" claim for its method.
  • Risk is not in the filing: bans, chargebacks and leaks hit creators, not platform totals. Work only with consenting adult creators.
